Mark and Michelle’s frosty reunion

Back together, but facing big decisions

- KATIE HOLLOWAY

Nothing says romance like a Christmas reunion – but Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan’s may not be as magical as they had hoped for. After filming away from home for the past eight months and only seeing her husband a few times, the 30-yearold actress is due to be spending the holiday in LA with Mark, who’s been there since September while working on TV show Extra.

And while they made it clear they couldn’t wait to see each other – even if Michelle flew home to see her dogs, Phoebe and Pip, first – we’re told it could be frosty, as there’s lots to discuss about their future.

“Mark’s glamorous lifestyle in LA is a million miles from the tough filming schedule Michelle’s had for Our Girl in South Africa and Malaysia,” our source says. “They’re leading completely different lives at the moment and are worried how they’re going to cope after being apart for so long.

“They’ve already clashed over the issue of children, as Michelle feels she isn’t ready, and they have a lot to sort out. If things carry on the way they are, they’re going to be facing more heartache – they know they need to make some big changes. They’ve decided that, over Christmas, they need to iron out the problems in their marriage.

“Of course, there’s going to be some festive fun going on, too, but they also have so much they need to discuss and it’s serious.”

heat recently reported how Mark has been offered a 12-month extension on his contract, meaning he’d be in LA until at least September 2019. Michelle is adamant she doesn’t want to live there full-time and expects Mark to make time for her when she visits. Our insider says, “She’s told Mark to slow down on his partying and not leave her hanging around while he’s off interviewing celebs”. But, for now, the former

TOWIE star is happy to have his wife back, tweeting, “Done. 8 months away from home, away from loved ones, working ridiculous hours in ridiculous conditions @michkeegan you amaze me more & more every day. I’m so proud of you, words can’t explain. It’s going to be the best Christmas ever!! I love you so much my little trooper.”
