CINDY TO CAITLYN: ‘STOP COPYING ME’

Imitation isn’t always the sincerest form of flattery

If we could choose anyone in the world to look like, we’d probably go for a supermodel – and that’s exactly what Caitlyn Jenner has been doing. According to sources, she is obsessed with looking like Cindy Crawford, and somebody is not happy about it.

“They do look very similar, and it’s no coincidence – Caitlyn is obsessed with Cindy,” an insider tells heat. “It’s really freaking Cindy out. She says it’s like Caitlyn held up her picture to the mirror and copied everything. Cait has a similar hairstyle, hair colour and make-up. She even wears the same eyeshadow as Cindy [by Charlotte Tilbury].

“Caitlyn has been researching everything on Cindy’s style regime. She’s been able to find out what salon Cindy goes to and where she shops. She went to Cindy’s hairstylist and asked to have it done just like hers.”

Cindy, 51, is said to be annoyed about how far Caitlyn is taking her admiration, but our insider tells us, “It’s not coming from a mean place at all. It’s actually a huge compliment. Caitlyn idolises Cindy and has done for years. Back when Cait was first beginning to realise that she was transgender, it was always Cindy that she dreamed of looking like.”

We’re told Caitlyn couldn’t be happier and is thrilled every time she sees comparisons of herself to the ’90s supermodel on social media. “Cait’s whole goal is to have people comparing the two of them. She loves when people point out the similarities,” the insider adds. “One compliment like that can make her day.”
