As much as she obviously loves her two boys, Britney Spears herself has spoken about how she would love a daughter to play dress-up with and indulge in her love of pink. Now, she’s told friends she’s hoping to get pregnant with boyfriend Sam Asghari – and she’s open to gender selection to ensure she finally has that baby girl…
“Britney has been broody for ages and is ready to have kids with Sam now,” says an insider close to the 36 year old, who is already mum to Sean, 12, and Jayden, 11, from her marriage to dancer Kevin Federline. “She is desperate to have a daughter, and they’re looking into gender selection IVF to make sure they have a little girl. She’s ready to get pregnant as soon as possible.”
The singer has been open about wanting more children, saying, “I want more, like, three more.” And friends say since meeting model Sam in October 2016, Britney’s more certain than ever about expanding her family. “Sam may only be 23, but he’s very level-headed and sensible,” says
heat’s source. “The boys love him and he’s a great father figure to them. He’ll never take the place of their real dad, but Britney loves how close they all are. She and Sam are talking about getting married in Hawaii in the next few months and then trying for a baby.
“She wants stability in her life after everything she’s been through in the past. Whatever happens, Britney knows Sam’s a keeper.”
