Their close relationship has been described as “mother and daughter” for months – but heat can reveal that Caitlyn Jenner and Sophia Hutchins have actually been dating in recent weeks. Now, Caitlyn – who was married three times as Bruce Jenner before she transitioned in 2015 – is said to have fallen for Sophia, and insiders say they want to make their love official and get married.
“Cait really sees herself spending the rest of her life with Sophia,” a source close to the 68 year old tells heat. “She lost her support system when she fell out with her family and these days, it feels like Sophia’s the only person she can count on.”
Earlier this year, we told you how Caitlyn had turned to Sophia, a 21-year-old transgender student, as the rift between her and the Kardashians widened. The star has been estranged from her family ever since she trashtalked ex-wife Kris in her 2017 memoirs. Now, we’re told, she barely has contact with Kourtney, Kim or Khloé, and rarely sees daughters Kendall and Kylie. But, after Sophia credited Caitlyn for giving her the courage to transition from male to female, we’re told their bond has turned into romance.
Our insider explains, “Cait is a complete outcast at the moment. She has also lost friends in the LGBT community because of her political views [she endorsed Donald Trump]. She was really hoping to reconnect with the Kardashians, especially with Khloé and Kim having had babies, but sadly she hasn’t met them, and she hasn’t even got to spend much time with her new granddaughter Stormi [Kylie’s daughter]. She just wants some companionship and really felt all alone before she met Sophia.”
The couple, who live together and are rarely seen apart, are apparently planning an intimate do near Caitlyn’s Malibu home, and are hoping for a “very tasteful and elegant affair, with a spiritual guru to officiate”.
The perfect foundations for everlasting love? Who knows. But one thing is certain – Caitlyn never fails to surprise.
