Girl power takes a week off for sunbathing
Never let it be said that the Little Mix girls don’t know how to work hard and play hard. The girl group are lucky enough to be recording their fifth studio album in celeb hot spot Mykonos, and last week, they managed to find time in their recording schedule for a little lounging in the sun.
Perrie Edwards, 25, was joined on the Greek isle by her footballer boyfriend of two years, Alex Oxlade-chamberlain, and she couldn’t wait to show off her holiday snaps on Instagram. And here’s a girl who goes to great lengths to ensure she gets the perfect shot for her 8.1million followers – climbing up onto a huge rock on the beach to nail that sunset snap. But she clearly didn’t trust Alex to take the photo, so asked someone else to do the honours. A brief scroll through her Instagram stories showed the loved-up couple feasting on seafood, jetting out on yachts, and sharing chocolate-covered strawberries while watching the sunset. We can’t decide if we’re insanely jealous or slightly queasy.
Bandmate Jade Thirlwall, 25, managed to rope in her other half for a quick Insta shoot, posing in her bikini on a rooftop in front of a backdrop dotted with classic Greek houses. The photographer in question was boyfriend Jed Elliott from rock band The Struts. The couple have been dating for over two years, after being
introduced by mutual friends.
Not to be outdone by her bandmates, Leigh-anne Pinnock also got in on the sexy snaps, showing off her incredible body in a turquoise bikini. Fans were happy to see that the 26 year old left the picture largely unedited, with one commenting, “Thank you Leigh-anne for not editing your stretch marks… beautiful.”
But Little Mixers may have been disappointed to find a lack of Jesy Nelson on their Instagram feeds, as the 27 year old has kept her trip distinctly private – she didn’t even post about going to her sister’s wedding, which also took place on the island last week. Maybe she’s gone old school and our postcard’s on the way… ■
