She’s made a public plea for contact with children
Katie Price sent Twitter into a frenzy last week when she sent out a desperate tweet implying that she had been unable to contact two of her children. In the early hours of the morning Katie tweeted, “Still up at this hour, trying to contact my kids in America. Been trying morning, afternoon and night. Please @Mrpeterandre let me know they are OK?”
Junior, 13, and Princess, 11, had gone on holiday to Disneyland in Florida with their father, Peter Andre, when Katie sent the worried tweet. The star reportedly told friends she hadn’t spoken to her children for four days. A friend of Katie’s said, “She was worried sick and was going out of her mind. She kept ringing their phones and couldn’t get through. Katie doesn’t have Pete’s number, so felt she had to reach out on Twitter to try and get him to respond.”
However, Peter had already posted multiple pictures of the kids enjoying their holiday and, after her very public plea to her ex-husband, Katie managed to make contact and was said to be “overjoyed to speak to them both”.
Fans commented on the 40 year old’s tweet, calling out her apparent worry, “Why put the message on Twitter rather than contact any of them directly? If they’re not answering their phones, they won’t be looking at Twitter! So obvious what you’re doing!”
Katie was on holiday with boyfriend Kris Boyson, in Scotland at the time before she jetted off to Majorca to celebrate a friend’s hen do.
