We ♥ Nasty Gal’s inclusive style

Style Ed Laura on why the brand’s new capsule collection has got you covered

Heat (UK) - - Contents -

Last month, online retailer Nasty Gal, known for its vintageinspired fashion and cool-girl vibes, announced an all-new, extended-sizing capsule collection called “More Sizes”. It marks a new era for the brand, as they join the ever-growing list of stores and e-tailers moving towards size inclusivity – something that is not only refreshing to see, but much needed in the fashion industry. The collection will range from UK size 4-22 and features everyday staples and key transitional pieces, with prices from £6-£45. Nasty Gal say of the collection, “Confidence, fearlessness and individuality make up the core of who we are, but size inclusivity was not always part of the conversation. Safe to say, we were overdue for a change. Which is why we’re excited to finally introduce our new capsule.” I, for one, applaud Nasty Gal’s first step toward making their fashion staples available for more women. And at heat, we’re all about fashion that works for everybody, so let’s hope more brands follow suit.
