If you’re going sober for October, or just planning to cut down a bit before the great Christmas booze-fest, then try out this easy but sophisticated-looking cocktail. It’s so tasty, it won’t leave you feeling sad that you’re giving the hard stuff a swerve. Here’s to being hangover-free!
Rosemary & Pomegranate Fizz Serves 8 Ingredients:
● 400ml pomegranate juice ● 4 sprigs of rosemary ● Juice of ½ lemon ● 750ml alcohol-free sparkling wine
● Pomegranate seeds ● Flowering rosemary sprigs
1 Pour the pomegranate juice into a small saucepan.
2 Lightly bruise the rosemary by rubbing it between your fingers, then add it to the pan.
3 Bring to a boil and reduce for ten minutes, then add the lemon juice.
4 Leave to cool, then strain and chill until ready to use.
5 Pour 30ml of the rosemary and pomegranate mixture into each Champagne flute , then top up with alcohol-free sparkling wine.
6 Garnish each glass with a few pomegranate jewels and a flowering rosemary sprig.
