The fallout from THAT kiss continues
They’ve done their best to reassure us that their marriage is intact, but weeks after the mother of all Strictly scandals broke, it seems that Katya and Neil Jones’ relationship is suffering. W hile she has been busy practising steps – and keeping it oh-so professional – with her former snogging partner Seann Walsh, he’s been painting the town as red as his ruby locks. And now, insiders are saying that the pair are living increasingly separate lives.
The proverbial hit the fan earlier this month, when Strictly pro Katya and comedian Seann were caught on camera playing tonsil tennis – despite the 29 year old being married to fellow dancer Neil, 35. While Seann was promptly dumped by his long-term girlfriend Rebecca Humphries, Neil stayed quiet on the matter, but continued to post supportive messages for his wife in the competition. Soon after, Katya told Zoë Ball, “The main thing for me is that me and Neil are absolutely fine.”
Last week, Seann and Katya were criticised for being “flirty” during an appearance on It Takes Two, while Neil hit the town solo, rocking up to the Bohemian Rhapsody world premiere, as well as the opening of the Natural History Museum’s winter ice rink.
And he seemed to give Katya a taste of her own medicine as he glided around the rink with Love Island’s Alexandra Cane (yes, she’s the one who got pied by Dr Alex).
