Nobody could accuse Lisa Armstrong of taking her divorce from Ant Mcpartlin lying down. In the past few months, the Strictly make-up artist has taken every opportunity – with the help of social media, an LA break-over and even a new tattoo – to ensure fans know exactly how she feels about her ex, and his speedy rebound with new girlfriend Anne-marie Corbett. But now friends say she’s considering taking things to the next level, and penning 70,000 words on the subject…
“Lisa’s been keeping a diary of her experiences for a while now,” says an insider close to the former couple, whose divorce was finalised two weeks ago. “She knows she can’t fully trash Ant, because of the terms of the divorce agreement. Any biography would delve into her days as a pop star [in the band Deuce], and how she met and fell in love with Ant. She sees it as being a self-help guide to offer inspiration to those going through hard times and divorce, like she has. She wants to help and inspire other women in tough situations

They got married in 2006, and Lisa saw Ant through his first stint in rehab, before their split was announced in January. He quickly began dating his former PA Anne-marie much to the shock of Lisa, who tweeted angrily about her “friend” who she “let into OUR home”. In their divorce papers, Ant, 42, admitted to adultery, and our insider says a tell-all book would be a great way for Lisa to get revenge on them both. “Lisa seems quite happy to make things as awkward as possible, just as Ant and Anne-marie are settling into their new life together,” we’re told. “She wants Ant to be reminded that you can’t treat people like that and then expect to move on so quickly. She’s told her friends she’ll be damned if she’ll let Ant erase her from his life so easily.”
It has been speculated that Ant and Anne-marie want to start a family, especially after Ant’s best friend Declan Donnelly became a father for the first time when wife Ali gave birth to daughter Isla last month. Lisa is said to be hurt Ali has become close to Annemarie, and last week, reports claimed Lisa had been hit with a legal notice to stop her tweeting about the couple. But our insider says that won’t stop her. We’re told, “Lisa has no intention of staying quiet. Ant knows that she could publish a lot of revealing stuff and he’s sick of it. He really thought finalising the divorce and giving her so much money would settle things. But it’s never really been about the money for Lisa. She’s still dealing with the raw pain of the marriage ending and seeing her husband with someone she considered a friend.
