Ferne’s got herself a new man – AND he’s got some dosh
The reality star cosies up to Love Island ’s Charlie
Well, this is one pairing we definitely didn’t see coming. Last week, Ferne Mccann was pictured looking super-cosy with Love Island star Charlie Brake.
After attending the Specsavers Spectacle Wearer of the Year awards earlier in the night, Ferne met up with 23-year-old Charlie and the pair were seen strolling along hand in hand after leaving a club together. Showing off her figure in a foxy off-the-shoulder dress, Ferne clung to the Love Islander, before the couple clambered into a taxi and went home together.
According to an onlooker, both TV stars attempted to cover their faces with their hands and phones to avoid being spotted, but eventually gave up.
And heat can reveal the pair have been getting flirty on social media for the last month, with both of them liking each other’s Instagram posts. Charlie has even liked pictures of Ferne’s 11-monthold daughter Sunday, while Ferne did the same to a picture of Charlie cuddling his cousin’s baby daughter. Thinking of playing happy family, guys?
Ferne has been single for over a year, since splitting from boyfriend Arthur Collins while she was pregnant, after he was arrested for an acid attack in a nightclub. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison at the end of last year, and she’s chosen to focus on raising Sunday.
In May, the 28 year old admitted she had been seeing someone, although did
not reveal who the mystery man was. She said, “There is someone older, who has been a confidant – who’s been there for me emotionally. I’d hardly call it a relationship, it’s in the early stages.” And while that romance quickly fizzled out, the single mum – who was also in a relationship with her former TOWIE co-star Charlie Sims for six years – recently said she was ready to dive back into the dating scene. “I’m definitely open to finding love again, because I’m a romantic at heart,” she told us. “But it has to be when the time is right. Right now, it’s just me and Sunday, and I feel very lucky.”
Socialite Charlie – whose grandfather was the founder of food distribution company Brakes, which was sold for £434million in 2002 – left this year’s
Love Island with a girlfriend, Ellie Brown. However, after a series of public bust-ups, the couple revealed they had split up at the end of September. He was then linked to heiress Kimberley Owen when the pair stayed together on her father’s super-yacht for the Monaco Yacht Show.
So, whether Ferne is yet another glamorous blonde in Charlie’s playboy life, or if these two are set to be our new favourite couple, only time will tell.
