Mel B’s MASSIVE dig At Posh
The frenemies’ feud picks up pace
Last week, celebs went to extremes to compete in the Halloween costume stakes. And Mel B managed to terrify us all, by inviting the wrath of Spice queen Victoria Beckham. In the least-subtle-ever swipe at her former bandmate, Mel B wore VB’S ’90s staple of a little black dress and a cheap cardboard mask of Vic’s face to attend Heidi Klum’s annual Halloween bash.
She also carried an axe with the words, “No, I am not going on tour,” written across it. To really hammer it home, a friend of Mel’s dressed up as Victoria’s husband David, and carried a makeshift axe emblazoned with the words, “Please please please do it for the Spice fans.” We’re sure that shoddy Sharpiewritten sign will do the trick.
In her Instagram caption, Mel didn’t address the serious shade she was throwing, simply writing, “Yesssss @heidiklum yippppeee first year coming to her party wow wow wow what an amazing Halloween party right now, seriously it’s on fire haha... never laughed soooo much.”
For the last few months, rumours have been circulating that the Spice Girls are planning to reunite, create new music and go on tour. Mel B herself has openly said a reunion is “100 per cent happening”, but it appears that nothing is going to convince Vic to agree to join the other girls on a lucrative tour.
Victoria has not spoken openly about the situation, but when Mel was asked if the fashion designer would join them, she replied, “Well, we’ll see about that one.”
