JP & Binky clash over baby India
She wants to put daughter in the spotlight
After splitting in September, Binky Felstead and Josh “JP” Patterson seemed to have kept things pretty amicable – until now. An insider close to the Chelsea pair tells heat they are clashing over the future of their 16-month-old daughter India.
“Binky and JP are still doing their very best to put on a united front, but the cracks are beginning to show,” we’re told. “JP is unhappy because Binky is really keen for India to have her own career in entertainment. She was in talks to get India on
Made In Chelsea and JP was annoyed that she didn’t run it past him first, which got them fighting about how much India is in the spotlight. The problem is, Binky has been getting a lot of offers to do more mother and baby shoots and other opportunities that JP doesn’t know about.”
While she was pregnant, Binky and JP filmed a spin-off series called Born In Chelsea, and we’re told Binky, 28, is frustrated with JP’S changing attitude. “She has raised the point that JP was more than happy with India being on TV when they were together, and can’t help but feel like he’s trying to be difficult. They’re still trying their best to be friendly, but Binky has admitted that recently he’s been testing her patience with his opinions on their joint parenting. She doesn’t see herself turning into some kind of pushy showbiz mum, but she doesn’t want to be too overprotective, either.”
