Uh-oh, she’s been pictured without it again
For the second time in almost as many weeks Michelle Keegan has been spotted out without her wedding ring. The 31-year-old actress – who’s been married to Mark Wright for three years – was seen ringless in Manchester the day after she finished filming on her new TV show, and it comes just weeks after she posed on the red carpet without her ring. And, unsurprisingly, Mark is not happy.
“Michelle has been taking her wedding ring on and off throughout the filming of her new show to get into character, but Mark noticed that sometimes she would forget to put it back on and it really riled him,” an insider tells heat. “His family were annoyed, too – because they know if Michelle’s seen without her ring on, people will start speculating about their marriage.”
And Mark’s feelings may have pushed him to take extreme action. It has been reported that the 31 year old has asked to leave his position on US entertainment show Extra in order to be able to return to living with Michelle in the UK. The TV presenter is said to be considering opportunities in the UK and Michelle’s not-so-subtle hint that their marriage needs work may have had something to do with it.
“Michelle feels lost right now. She’s loved filming [new Sky comedy] Brassic and made tons of new friends with the cast and crew. It’s been like a little family and it’s only served to remind her that she doesn’t really have that closeness with Mark in their marriage at the moment.”
The couple have spent plenty of time apart recently, thanks to their busy careers. Mark was filming The Bachelor UK in South Africa before returning to LA, while Michelle has been busy filming Brassic in Manchester.
Our insider adds, “Lately, Michelle’s been left wondering if it’s really OK for a married couple to spend so much time apart, they’re just not where they wanted to be in their marriage right now. The pressure they’re under in the spotlight is immense and they’ve found it impossible to force themselves to be in the same place at the same time.”
