In a further example of their plans to take over the world, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are said to be desperate to get some royals in their contact list. And we’re told the power couple are hoping to win over pregnant Meghan Markle by getting her the ultimate baby gift.
“Meghan’s baby isn’t even born yet, but Kim is already brainstorming an OTT present, which she hopes will seal her long-held ambition to make Meg a friend,” our insider says. “She has said money is no object, and wants to send a gift that will really stand out from the hundreds of others that Meghan and Prince Harry are likely to receive when their baby is born next year.”
heat revealed earlier this year that Kim was desperate to secure an invite to Prince Harry and Meghan’s wedding. And while she didn’t succeed – and still hasn’t actually met the new royal – our source tells us, “Kim is convinced she and Meghan will be best friends one day. It’s very much a long-term project and she’s chipping away to impress her when the opportunities arise.”
And it seems Kim – who has three children of her own with Kanye – thinks that she and Meghan will be the ideal yummy mummy BFFS.
“The arrival of the royal baby will be a perfect time for her to remind Meghan and Harry that she and Kanye are thoughtful people, and she’s looking to stand out from all the other celebrities with something truly impressive.
“She’s been getting her people to research everything from diamond baby jewellery to crystal nursery décor.”
