The star is upset over claims she’s pregnant with Brad’s baby
We thought we’d woken up back in the noughties last week, as headlines screamed about Jennifer Aniston having Brad Pitt’s baby. A US magazine claimed the pair were moving in together ahead of their new arrival and even printed a “sonogram” picture as fans rushed to share their shock. But while their management reps were quick to dismiss the story, insiders tell heat this one really got to the actress, who was devastated that people would stoop so low…
“Jen was truly shocked when she saw that cover,” says an insider close to the actress, who was married to Brad for five years. “She’s used to reading crazy stuff about herself in the American press, but to see claims of her and Brad actually having a baby and showing off an ultrasound picture was a step beyond anything she’d seen before. She couldn’t believe anyone would do that!” The magazine’s source also claimed, “Brad and Jen never gave up hope on having a child together, and now it’s finally happening. They’ve had such a troubled history, but their baby dreams have finally come true. She’s been telling friends that she’s pregnant – and that they can’t wait to meet their baby.” In small print under the sonogram, they admit it’s a “recreation”, but the actress’ spokesperson still took the rare step of speaking out to blast it as a “complete fabrication,” while Brad’s reps added that it was “baseless”. But it’s a particularly low blow given Jen recently spoke out about her struggles to have a child with Justin Theroux. The pair split at the beginning of 2018 with Jen saying in August, “The misconceptions are, ‘Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career’… Those are reckless assumptions. No one knows what’s going on behind closed doors. No one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally.”
As heat told you last week, Jen – who turns 50 in two months – and Brad, 54, are back on speaking terms these days and she’s even invited the movie star to her birthday celebrations early next year. But that doesn’t mean they’re getting back together. heat ’s insider adds, “Yes, she and Brad are on good terms now, but it’s taken a lot to get there and Jen still regrets the way things ended. He was the love of her life and everyone knows they tried very hard to have kids. So you can’t blame Jen for having her feelings stirred up by this. She’s reached a place where she’s at peace now with what happened, but that’s not to say it doesn’t hurt terribly, when it’s rubbed in her face like this. It really crossed the line.” n
