Khloé and Tristan come face to face...
Unicorns, a balloon extravaganza and every colour of candy floss you can imagine – it can only be a Kardashian child’s first birthday. In a blue silk dress matching her mum’s, Khloé’s, daughter True was treated to the most lavish birthday party she will ever… not remember.
An assortment of other Kar-jenners attended the party – including Kylie with her daughter, and True’s cousin, Stormi – but a notable member of the guest list was True’s dad, Tristan Thompson. He and Khloé are no longer together following the accusations that he cheated on her with Kylie’s BFF, Jordyn Woods. And, unsurprisingly, a source said things were pretty uncomfortable between the two of them.
“Tristan attended the birthday party with some friends. Khloé seemed a bit nervous about having him there, but there was never any question over him being invited,” says an insider close to the family. “They posed for some pictures
together with True, but otherwise had very little interaction. Khloé just let Tristan spend some alone time with True.”
And, according to our insider, Tristan, 28, is well and truly in the past for Khloé, 34, as she’s already thinking about finding a new man – as long as he meets her list of requirements. “Khloé has had such bad luck with men that she’s determined she isn’t going to make the same mistakes again,” we’re told. “She’s still attracted to basketball players, but she won’t date anyone who has any baggage or doesn’t have his own money. Khloé wants someone who is based in Los Angeles, at least 6ft tall and picks up after himself at home! She’s looking for a guy who is over 30 and ready to settle down, rather than someone who wants to party with his friends. She’s being super-picky and won’t so much as consider dating someone unless he meets all of her criteria.”
We’re not surprised Khloé wants to be picky after the previous relationships she’s had. The reality star was married to NBA player Lamar Odom back in 2009, but she filed for divorce after four years – eventually officially divorcing in 2016 – thanks to his cheating and drug addiction. Our source also reveals Khloé is hoping to add “father potential” to her checklist as well. “Having True made her broodier, so whoever she dates next needs to be ready to start a family together almost straight away. Khloé is obsessed with her ticking biological clock, and is desperate to have babies number two and three in fairly quick succession. She actually doesn’t mind if a guy already has kids of his own or is divorced – it’s not a deal-breaker.
“She wants a real man this time, not a boy who’ll play around behind her back.” n
