Becky Vardy reckons she’s won the WAG war with Coleen Rooney. Her account will be pleased

It’s ‘Coleen Who-ney?’ for the new mum

‘it’s driving coleen crazy to see becky act like this’

It’s been over three months since Coleen Rooney sensationally accused “Rebekah Vardy’s account” of leaking fake stories about her, something her fellow WAG denied, vowing to hire a team of forensic experts to clear her name. However, it seems Becky – who was “heavily pregnant” at the time – has decided to give up on her investigation following the birth of her fifth child last month. She and footballer husband Jamie proudly showed off newborn daughter Olivia Grace in a magazine photo shoot – alongside her four other children – and heat has been told she thinks these happy family pics are a way to show Coleen that she was won.

“The feud between Becky and Coleen appears to be dying down and that’s because Becky has decided to take the moral high ground,” our insider says. “She made a point of not mentioning Coleen or the feud in her recent interview. She doesn’t want to be seen as the troublemaker who is bringing up tawdry details. As far as she’s concerned, that’s what Coleen did. Becky really likes the fact that she doesn’t need to mention Coleen as she continues to work her way up the WAG hierarchy, and can just enjoy being a mum to her baby daughter.” When Coleen – who is married to former England captain Wayne Rooney and has four sons with him – first claimed that leaked fake stories about her had originated from Becky’s Instagram account, Becky hit back, claiming that numerous people had access to her account. She said that she would use a forensic IT firm to prove that she wasn’t involved, but she always said that she wouldn’t reveal the outcome of the findings – and now she feels like she doesn’t even have to investigate.

“It’s still driving Coleen crazy to see Becky acting like butter wouldn’t melt, when she is convinced that she had something to do with it,” our insider adds. “But as far as Becky is concerned, it’s not something she wants to put any more energy into. She wants to focus on all the positive things happening in her life right now, like her new baby, Jamie’s career, and her own work opportunities. She thinks the only person who should feel awkward is Coleen, but Becky says she’s happy to let her off the hook, particularly as she’s concentrating on her family right now. That’s what’s important to her.” n
