bobby brazier takes Fashion week by storm
The teen model does a mean Blue Steel
Move over, Derek Zoolander, there’s a new male model in town. Step forward Bobby Brazier, son of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody, who made his runway debut last week at the Dolce & Gabbana show in Milan – with proud dad and brother Freddy flying out to the Italian city to support him. And didn’t Bobby look fabulous?
The 16 year old – who left school to do an apprenticeship in digital marketing last year – made his triumphant entrée into the world of high fashion just six months after signing with modelling agency Unsigned Group, and with all the confidence of a seasoned pro. Seriously, while most teen boys struggle to wear clean undies, 6ft 1in Bobby rocked his pinstripe overcoat and briefcase like a natural, much to dad Jeff’s pride and delight.
Writing on Instagram following the show, Jeff said, “What an achievement! Freddy and I flew out to Milan to congratulate Bobby today and he seems to be taking everything in his stride… Beyond proud and very grateful we could spend time with him and bring a bit of home his way.” Bobby himself then told his followers, “Dream come true tonight, I’m buzzing!”
It’s certainly been a massive year for the budding supermodel, who marked the tenth anniversary of his mum’s tragic death to cervical cancer last March. After spending his very early life in front of the paps, Bobby and his brother Freddy, 15, grew up away from the spotlight following Jade’s death – but the teen’s fledgling modelling career shows he’s ready to make a name for himself in his own right.
His success comes amid ongoing speculation around Jeff’s marriage to PR executive Kate Dwyer. The pair married in 2018, but hit the headlines in October after Jeff admitted they were having “some difficulties”. They both removed their wedding rings and – even worse – unfollowed each other on Instagram.
But it seems the couple are back on track, after going on a make-or-break spa holiday together over the festive period. They’ve both been pictured with their wedding rings back on, and friends say they’re working hard to save their marriage. So, happy news all around for the Brazier bunch. n
