Luke T’s mum thinks Siânnise is just like her. Err...

The semi-pro footballer has a VIP fan watching at home

- CHARLOTTE OLIVER

She had a rough start to villa life, continuously finding herself at the losing end of ill-fated love triangles. But Siânnise Fudge, 25, finally got her moment last week, as she reunited with partner Luke T, 22, who’d stayed loyal to her during his time in Casa Amor. There wasn’t a dry eye in the nation – especially in Luton, where Luke’s proud mum Beverley Trotman was bawling her eyes out. Speaking to heat, Beverley – who you might recognise from series four of The X Factor, back in 2007, when she made it to the live shows with her rip-roaring vocals – tells us why she’s the proudest mother who ever mothered…

How are you finding watching Luke on TV? Oh my, it’s been distressing and exciting, but what fun! He’s made us a proud family. Also, I know he’s my son, but he’s just so gorgeous as well. Is Siânnise his normal type? Well, he’s been at Loughborough uni, where everyone’s finding themselves, so I didn’t actually know who he’d go for. But when he picked Siânnise, I was like, “Get in!” You know what I like about her? She says it like it is – and I’m like that. In a weird way, she reminds me of myself, of a younger

Beverley. When I was younger, I didn’t take any rubbish from anyone. So he’s used to strong women? Maybe! I’m a very straight person, and he’s also got an older sister, Tiana, so I think that’s what he’s used to. And with Siânnise, she’s just so honest and open, isn’t she? You get a sense that she’s upfront. I think he likes that. He’s not a player, then? Oh my god, not my son. I’d kill him. He’s so respectful. Listen, my husband John and I have been married 27 years, and Luke often talks about how grateful he is that we’re still together.

I’m deputy head at a primary school and I see many families who have split. Marriage isn’t easy, but I hope both my children can see that you can get through things. We’re loving his bromance with Luke M, too… I absolutely love Luke M. My Luke often has his lads over to the house and they’re very respectful. Luke M is more than welcome to join the crew. Do you think he and Siânnise could win it? It depends what the public like. If they like a couple who are open, honest and genuinely in love – 100 per cent. Are you looking forward to meeting her? Oh yes, definitely, she’s my girl. And she does beauty, doesn’t she? I’m rubbish at make-up. And she loves dancing… Do you know what? Simon Cowell told me on national TV I couldn’t dance, so now I’ve got Siânnise to help me with that. n
