Dani’s upset over ‘con man’ boyfriend
As he pleads not guilty to fraud
She hasn’t been shy in gushing about her boyfriend Sammy Kimmence since they got back together last April, recently telling heat, “He’s my best friend,” and that her parents and sister love him. But Dani Dyer’s relationship was seriously rocked last week, after Sammy appeared in court, charged with scamming two elderly men out of their life savings.
The self-described stockbroker, 23, appeared before a judge at Portsmouth Crown Court to deny two charges of conning his clients, aged 90 and 80, out of £34k by falsely claiming he could provide financial services through an investment company – but actually pocketing the cash himself. He was released on bail ahead of a trial in June.
So far, Dani has stayed silent about her boyfriend’s court appearance, but it’s certainly a massive blow for the 24 year old. Two weeks ago, she also had to deal with ex-boyfriend Jack Fincham revealing he’d become a dad – just nine months after their break-up. Daughter Blossom was born after a brief fling with his “great friend”, NHS compliance officer Casey Ranger. Following Jack’s bombshell news, Dani spoke out, wishing him “all the best” and “congratulations”. Still, since hearing the news, she’s reportedly been keener than ever to settle down with Sammy, with friends saying it’s “only a matter of time” before they head down the aisle.
Sadly for Dani, it looks like her plans could be subject to change, depending on the outcome of Sammy’s trial. ■
