Surprise! They did it again
They love a surprise baby announcement, having shocked us all in 2018 with the arrival of their third daughter Coco via surrogate. But Robbie Williams and Ayda Field outdid themselves last week, when they posted a photo to Instagram of their children’s feet… all, er, eight of them. “Spot the difference,” Ayda wrote, before telling her followers that they’d recently welcomed their fourth child, a baby boy named Beau Benedict Enthoven Williams. “As with Coco, he is biologically ours, but born via our same incredible surrogate,” she revealed. “We are so blessed to have our healthy son safely in our arms and are officially complete as a family.”
The couple – who are also parents to Theodora, seven, and Charlton, five – have been open about their fertility struggles in the past, telling fans when Coco was born in September 2018 that it had been “a very long and difficult path to get here”. Last year, Ayda also spoke on
Loose Women about their desire to expand their family further (while their surrogate was already pregnant, sneaky Ayda), revealing, “I’d like to, but you never know what’s going to happen in the world,” and adding that it would be nice to give Coco a “teammate”.
But now, it looks like the happy family of six are feeling more complete than ever. Then again, they have a habit of surprising us, so who knows who or what they’ll unveil next. We’ll be meticulously counting all limbs pictured in their photos for the foreseeable future. ■
