With its flashes backwards and forwards and cross-cutting between timelines, the storytelling has been intriguing all the way along. Now, in this finale, Annalise (Davis) is on trial and she discovers there’s a surprise witness who will threaten her case, but she still gets to make an impassioned closing argument. Meanwhile, Laurel (Karla Souza) gets help from Tegan (Amirah Vann) to arrange her father’s murder in prison in exchange for millions of dollars worth of property. But what will the verdict on Annalise be? And will anyone get away with murder? ★★★★
