Why Women Kill

This might sound like a sensationally-titled doc, but it is, in fact, a new ten-part comedy-drama from the creator of Desperate Housewives – a detail that was always going to make us sit up and pay attention. The show centres on the lives of three women who live in three different decades, but are all dealing with infidelity in their marriages and reacting in much the same ways. They are 1960s housewife Beth Ann Stanton (Once Upon A Time’s Ginnifer Goodwin), ’80s socialite Simone Grove (Lucy Liu) and modern-day lawyer Taylor Harding (The Good Place’s Kirby Howell-baptiste). Turns out they’re all living in the same house in Pasadena, California, too. The show also stars Jack Davenport and will go out in weekly double bills. ★★★★ Jason Arnopp
