You get emotional in the first episode of Celeb Bumps – have you always wanted to be a dad? I always had a vibe that I’d be a really good dad, but I was waiting for the right person. Now I’ve met the right person [fiancée Rebecca] and we’ve created the most perfect little boy, so it was definitely a super-emotional moment. We actually had a miscarriage the year before, so finding out we were having a baby again was amazing. I don’t think I’ve cried so much than when I’m around this little boy. And then in the hospital, after he was born, he had a couple of issues and I got super-emotional again. I feel like I’m just an emotional dad. I am that guy.
Your parents are living with you at the moment – is it nice to have them around? My mum is amazing with kids. When Rebecca and I want to have a bath or just five minutes without him needing the boob or whatever, Mum takes him. And then, especially at this time , when you can’t go and see your family, it’s so nice for him to be around his grandparents. What’s been the highlight? After seeing everything that Bex went through during the labour and being so strong through it – everything that we’ve been through over the last few months has been worth it, because he’s literally the best thing in the world.
