Red Nose Day is fast approaching, make sure you get your Nose in time

It’s not long now until Red Nose Day – officially the funniest day in the calendar – and, boy, are we in need of a bit of a giggle. The night of one-off comedy specials, live music and money-can’t-buy prizes is back on Friday 19 March and there are so many ways to get involved and help raise money for this wonderful cause.

This year, there are ten brand new Red Noses available to buy both in store and online at Sainsbury’s and online at Argos. They are 100% plastic-free for the first time ever with at least 75p from each purchase going to Comic Relief to help people living incredibly tough lives. Charities such as Comic Relief are more important than ever at the moment, and every penny you raise will go towards helping someone who truly needs it.

Pop into Sainsbury’s (or shop online) and you’ll also be able to pick up a fun activity book, a bake sale kit, and even a “Make Your Own Adventure” kit, which is a great way to get the whole family outdoors and exploring. You can also get your hands on a set of pin badges to jazz up any coat or bag, a notebook for all those hilarious thoughts you’ll need to jot down, and an eco-friendly drinks bottle you can take with you wherever you go. Of course, you’ll also want to pick up your very own Red Nose, and at just £1.50 each, you’ll want them all. Each box is a mystery until you open it – which fun character will you get? You might love the caterpillar’s smiley face, the cheeky looking badger, or for those feeling a little feisty, then the fox is the one for you.

Make sure your Nose is fully kitted out in time for Red Nose Day on 19 March and settle in for a night of hilarious telly. And don’t forget that any money you raise will help support those in need both in the UK and around the world.
