But while most people might get a new haircut or splash out on a killer outfit, Kim Kardashian’s taking things to extremes (of course) and shedding all her clothes entirely. According to insiders, the reality superstar has had a surge in confidence since pulling the plug on her and Kanye West’s marriage, and while she’s never been shy about flashing her flesh, she’s really upped her game.
“Especially towards the end of the marriage, Kanye would make a habit of telling her to cover up,” says an insider close to Kim, who’s previously spoken about Kanye purging her wardrobe – including throwing out 250 pairs of shoes. “It seemed that, the more insecure he was, the more he fretted about her – she used to worry what she would wear each morning. That’s totally gone now, so she can express herself the way she wants to.” While the SKIMS founder is often posing in her skimpies to promote her underwear brand online – and has one of the most famous bodies in the world – our source tells us that, behind closed doors, Kim became surprisingly self-conscious. But since she filed for divorce from Kanye in February, she’s found a part of herself again – the part that absolutely loves getting butt naked. “Kim’s happiest stripping off entirely when the cameras aren’t on her,” we’re told. “She sunbathes fully nude and sleeps in the buff. More than anything, it’s taught her to be easier on herself and accept her flaws.” It’s a good thing she lives in LA, as those harsh New York winters are not kind to nudists. ■
