There aren’t many rock stars in the history of music as fascinating as Freddie Mercury. The frontman of Queen would have been 75 years old this year, but he died age 45, back in 1991. This programme uses iconic photos to celebrate him in all his complicated, charismatic glory, from his early days helping to make Queen a global phenomenon, through to their legendary performance at Live Aid in 1985 and beyond.
