The ultimate in spring florals

Style Ed Laura on how to make this trend work for you

-

Yes, blooms again, but it wouldn’t be spring without some fresh floral fashion, would it? And from abstract to ditsy prints, there are loads of options to choose from right now. Smaller prints are great for disguising anything you don’t want to highlight, while bolder patterns will instantly lift any look. And whether you go for a pretty dress, co-ord or sharp tailoring, there’s an abundance of choice available, no matter what your body shape. Plus, the brilliant thing with florals is that you really can go for anything, from an oversized print or something more minimal, to mashing up your patterns – the options are endless. The key, as I always say, is to wear what makes you look and feel good. So, remember your silhouette and what you want to flatter or flaunt – whether that’s a curvy shape, petite frame, long legs or waist. And if you don’t feel brave enough to do florals head-to-toe, team with classic shades like navy and black, or trusty blue denim, to break up your look – always a winner!
