The style team show you how to wear spring co-ords

Style Ed Laura on making this trend work for you

We’re all about getting back to the salon this week – and we want to look good while doing it! From tracksuits to tailored two-pieces, co-ords have become a style staple – and there’s no harder working duo for your wardrobe. While we’ve been rocking loungewear for the last year (and, yes, we still love it), now we have a little more freedom, let’s enjoy getting dressed up again. Whether it’s a skirt-and-top combo, some luxe PJS or a cute suit, matchy-matchy will always look good, plus all the hard work is done for you. The key is to stick to what makes you look and feel good. Think about your body shape – highlighting your best bits is always the way forward, while clever styling tricks can draw the eye away from any areas you’d rather not focus on.

Fitted options are ideal for showing off your figure, but if you want to balance out your proportions, try flared skirts or trousers with a fitted top if you’re bigger on the bottom half, or vice versa if you’re the other way round. Want to skim your shape? Longer lines and clever layering work wonders.
