STACEY HEADS UP THE PICKLE COTTAGE ARMY

She’s launched Operation Dream Home with a vengeance

We are in no way surprised that Stacey Solomon was absolutely raring to go in her new house. The “Tap to Tidy” star has more than just a penchant for cleaning and upcycling, so we knew it wouldn’t be long before we were getting an insight into the renovations on her new £1.2m house.

Last week, Stacey shared with her 4.3m Instagram followers that the swimming pool would be the first thing to be tackled. The 31 year old invited Tiktok viral sensation “the pool guy” (see right) round to help her with the mammoth task. Showing off just how neglected the pool had been, Stacey admitted she’d asked to have a go with her jet wash cleaner first and wrote her name in the dirt at the bottom of the pool. “This is a massive job, so it’ll take a few days, but I am so excited for the tap to tidy. Genuinely having the time of my life,” she told her fans.

The mum of three also shared footage of herself laying flooring in the conservatory, telling her fans she couldn’t resist having a go. The flooring company even shared a post on their Instagram (@aclarkecarpets_flooring) about Stacey joining in, writing, “Stacey and Joe have been so lovely and kept us fed with cakes and plenty of tea and coffee to keep us going, and here are the results of the new flooring in the conservatory. Thanks so much for choosing and trusting us to transform your floors, and thanks for helping with the fitting, Stacey”.

The Loose Women star then got stuck into her favourite activity – jet washing – and transformed some garden benches and gates. It’s clear that if you’re a tradesperson heading over to Pickle Cottage in the next few weeks, you’re going to have to let Stacey join in. ■
