Joshua shoulders the parenting duties
And baby Janie enjoys the view
After welcoming his first daughter last April, Joshua Jackson looked the picture of a doting daddy last week when he stepped out in New York City. Pushing baby Janie around in a pram, the 42 year old went for full casualwear in a grey tracksuit before later meeting up with his much trendier wife Jodie Turner-smith. As she pushed their 11 month old’s pram through the city, Joshua gave Janie a view of the big city, propping the adorable girl on his shoulders for a better look. British model and actress Jodie, 34, had been dating the Dawson’s
Creek star since 2018 before the pair wed in secret in December 2019. The couple then welcomed Janie in spring 2020.
Jodie recently opened up about parenting during a pandemic. In an interview she said, “Navigating parenthood at any time is difficult and it’s even more difficult without support, when everything is shut down and you can’t really see other people or go anywhere.”
She also said that childbirth had helped her find her inner strength, saying women are “supremely powerful beings” and bearing a baby is “some goddess-level shit”.
