SEYFRIED TAKES OVER THE DROPOUT
Amanda Seyfried has signed on to play Elizabeth Holmes – the notorious founder of a company called Theranos, whose story was told in a podcast serial The Dropout – in the forthcoming US drama series of the same name. Seyfried takes over the role from Kate Mckinnon. The series tells the story of how Holmes fronted a huge company whose tech didn’t work, putting thousands of people’s health in danger.
