The EE Bafta Film Awards Opening Night/the British Academy Film Awards

It’s all change with the Baftas this year (see page 42 for our special feature). Not only are the films and stars nominated the most intriguing and diverse for years, but the awards themselves are being presented across two shows this weekend. First, on BBC2 on Saturday night, Clara Amfo will host as eight winners will be revealed, and Noel Clarke will be at the Royal Albert Hall to receive his well-deserved Outstanding British Contribution to Cinema gong. Then, on Sunday, on BBC1, Edith Bowman and Dermot O’leary will be joined by a small group of award presenters at the Albert Hall, as well as stars in LA, and a virtual audience, while the remaining 17 winners will be announced.
