Home alone
Your furry colleague has been used to having you around every single day for a whole year. As the restrictions start to ease and we head back to the office, your dog might start suffering with separation anxiety.
GRAEME SAYS: “When you’re going for your daily exercise or your food shop, use these as opportunities to train your dog into thinking, ‘They go, they come back – it’s not a big deal.’ If you’re leaving and the dog is barking, keep on going and don’t come back to reassure them, as the dog will associate the barking with bringing you back home. Getting them used to being left alone in small stages will help.”
