Based on a true story and set in 1993, this 12-part Italian thriller series centres on a Sicilian prosecutor in Palermo, Italy, where the Mafia are locked in endless wars between rival families who fight for control of the streets and often catch innocent people in the crossfire. Young prosecutor Saverio Barone has been arresting people at street-level for years, but now he really steps up to the plate by jailing his own boss. As a result, he gets appointed to an anti-mafia unit, which goes on to arrest 300 Mafiosi. Barone soon becomes known as The Hunter, but also grows detached from his partner, who recently gave birth. The full box set becomes available from Friday 16 April. ★★★★
