THE GREATEST GREAT-GRANDDAD

-

We’re not often treated to pictures from the royals’ private family album, but last week, Buckingham Palace released a touching tribute to Prince Philip: a previously unseen photograph of him and the Queen surrounded by seven of their great-grandchildren (they’ve since welcomed three more: Zara Tindall’s one-month-old son Lucas, Princess Eugenie’s two-month-old son August, and Meghan and Harry’s 23-month-old son Archie). The image, taken by the Duchess of Cambridge in 2018, shows the Queen holding baby Prince Louis on her lap, with his brother Prince George, now seven, and sister Princess Charlotte, five, on either side. Also in the picture are Peter Phillips’ daughter Savannah, ten, her younger sister Isla, nine, and Zara Tindall’s children, Mia, seven, and Lena, two. Adorable. n
