We’ve had TV and film adaptations of genius crime writer Harlan Coben’s novels in English, French, Polish and now Spanish. And from what we’ve seen, this one, based on Coben’s 2005 novel of the same name, could be one of the best. It all kicks off with an incident at a nightclub when Mat (Mario Casas) tries to break up a fight and ends up accidentally killing someone. Now, nine years later, he’s trying to restart his life with his wife Olivia (Aura Garrido), when he gets a shocking call from Olivia’s phone while she’s on a business trip to Berlin. Like all Coben stories, the narrative is jam-packed with incident and twists. Expect to be riveted. ★★★★
