There’s no such thing as too many pickles for Stacey and Joe, as she reveals their hopes for another baby

A wedding and another baby are on the cards

Stacey Solomon has let slip there could be a fourth pickle on the way in the near future – with a nursery already planned for her new baby. She also displayed more than a little bit of broodiness on an Insta-live chat last week, and friends tell heat she is keen to have a little girl.

While showing previously unseen rooms (yes, we were excited, too) in her new £1.2million house dubbed “Pickle Cottage”, Stacey told her followers, “Next door is another spare bedroom, so if we are ever lucky enough to have any more pickles, then maybe this will be pickle number four’s bedroom.”

She was quick to add, “We are so lucky already to have our boys, so whatever will be will be,” but it’s clear the 31 year old is ready to expand her blended brood. Stacey is already mum to Zachary, 12, and Leighton, eight, from two previous relationships, and she and fiancé Joe Swash have one-year-old Rex together. Joe, 39, also has a son, Harry. So, a little girl after so many boys would be the icing on the cake.

“Stacey has confessed that she’s feeling really broody again,” an insider tells heat. “She’s keen to try for another baby with

Joe – and both of them really want a daughter.”

Stacey – who has previously said a girl would be “lovely” – displayed her maternal yearnings on Instagram last week. Addressing a question from a fan about Rex’s long locks, she replied that she liked to let it grow as long as possible because, “I feel like as soon as you cut their hair, they’re not babies anymore and instantly look about 15!”

And, while it may be a busy time for Stacey right now, we’re told she wants to take the chance at expanding her family. “With lockdown, she’s learned you’ve just got to take more chances in life and not wait around for things to happen,” our source says. “She’s

felt let down by so many things in the past year – a lot of it to do with her wedding. But she thinks having another child would give her and Joe something to look forward to that’s set in stone and is not at the mercy of being changed because of COVID rules. She knows that everything can’t go perfectly all the time and a new baby might end up being chaotic – but she also wants to embrace all of that, because she knows she’ll regret it if she doesn’t do it now.”

Last week, Stacey was finally able to confirm that she and Joe can get married in the grounds of their new pad. “After lots of thinking, wondering, phone calls, and then crazy rearranging, we were so excited to hear tonight that we can definitely have our wedding ceremony at home,” she told Instagram followers.

Stacey and Joe got engaged on Christmas Eve and the Tap To Tidy author has been making wedding plans ever since. It seemed Stacey’s dream ceremony was going to have to be scrapped as, according to UK law, weddings must take place in licensed premises and cannot be in the open air for them to be legal. But, after receiving the go-ahead, she was quick to start sharing details about the big day with fans.

“We are having a little minute walking around the garden with the boys thinking where things might be,” she said. “We are thinking about walking down Woodland Walk for our vows and then a [reception] in this old barn. I honestly cannot wait to hear your advice, your wedding stories and share this whole adventure with you all.” n
