OK, he’s not exactly an industry novice – he’s fronted electropop band Years & Years since 2010, and is responsible for such truly epic bangers as Shine, King and Desire. But unless you’ve been hiding your head in a soundproof box over the past few months, you’ll probably have noticed that Olly Alexander is having a bit of a moment – and his critically acclaimed performance as Ritchie in Channel 4’s smash-hit It’s A Sin was just the start of it.

Last month, the singer announced he’s fully taken the reins of Years & Years, and he’s marked this new milestone as a solo artist with a brandnew single Starstruck. Yes, from where we’re sitting, Olly will be delighting us with his talents for, ahem, years and years to come…
