Awards big-hitter Nomadland comes to the screen

Sky’s new and pleasingly female-led sci-fi drama comes to us from the showrunner of Prisoners’ Wives and Secret Diary Of A Call Girl. The story centres on space cop Ash Harper (Savannah Steyn, The Tunnel) who, as is the eventual fate of all law-abiding cops on TV, gets convicted of a crime she didn’t commit. When Ash gets sentenced to a prison planet and loaded onto a prison spaceship called The Hemlock, her mum Arch-marshall Rebecca Harper is determined to prove her daughter’s innocence and bring her safely home, only for Ash’s fellow convicts hijack the Hemlock. Unfortunate. ★★★★
