THEN & NOW

The former S Club 8 singer, 32, was a BIG fan of Tammy Girl

BACK THEN, I WAS WEARING…

Clothes with cobwebs on them. Everyone in S Club Juniors had their “thing” and mine was cobwebs. In the music video for One Step Closer, if you look closely, you can see glittery cobwebs all over my jeans.

NOW…

My style is quite casual. You’ll rarely catch me in a dress.

YOU’D ALWAYS FIND ME SPLURGING ON…

Clothes from Tammy Girl. I’ve always been into fashion, and we all thought that was the coolest store.

NOW…

I still love buying clothes, but nowadays, you’re more likely to catch me in H&M or Primark. I do love pre-loved items as well, and I’m always having a browse on Depop.

I USED TO LOVE WATCHING…

Disney channel and all the S Club 7 movies, like Seeing Double and Miami 7. The only reason I actually auditioned for S Club Juniors in the first place was because getting to the final meant that we could meet them all.

NOW…

I recently watched Encanto with my daughter and we loved it. Nellie picks up song lyrics really quickly and we sing all the songs around the house.

I WAS OBSESSED WITH LISTENING TO…

Lamar and Rosie Ribbons. Actually, anyone from Pop Idol or Popstars, because they were represented by the same label as us, so we would always get sent their latest CDS.

NOW…

The Paw Patrol and Ugly Dolls soundtracks. Nellie has taken over my Spotify account.

THE CELEBS YOU’D FIND ME HANGING OUT WITH WERE…

Blazin’ Squad, Sugababes, The Cheeky Girls… Morning TV shows like SMTV Live and Ministry Of Mayhem were great for meeting other bands.

NOW…

I’m still friends with Hannah Richings from S Club 8, although we don’t get to see each other as much as we’d like because we’re in different parts of the country. She was actually a bridesmaid at my wedding.

BACK IN THE DAY, I USED TO FANCY…

Reepa from Blazin’ Squad. We did actually swap numbers, but he never texted me. I was gutted.

NOW…

My husband, retired footballer Fraser Franks. We actually moved in together after three months of knowing each other. I guess when you know, you know.

MY GUILTY PLEASURE USED TO BE…

Build-a-bear. Because I was away from home so often, my parents used to record a little message to put inside them so I wouldn’t feel homesick.

NOW…

Cleaning and being organised, though I don’t feel guilty about it. Currently on my wish list is a label-maker.
