Rock Till We Drop

In this new four-part series, mentors Martin Kemp and grime artist Lady Leshurr must each assemble two rock ’n’ roll bands, comprised solely of musicians over the age of 64. The mentors’ aim, after a ludicrously tight six-week training period, is to have both bands go headto-head at the Isle Of Wight Festival. To start with, both mentors hold “open mic” auditions to find their lead singers. Whereas Martin wants a soul voice, Lady Leshurr craves someone who can mix rock with reggae. One of them That’s ends up a massive weapon, Tom considering 95-year-old Roy for their vacant drum stool. ★★★★
