Life And Death In The Warehouse

From the people who brought us Killed By My Debt and Murdered By My Father, this “factual drama” takes place in the world of modern warehouse distribution centres, where workers can be pushed to the limit, with their performance being monitored by surveillance and then timed right down to the last second. The story centres around pregnant warehouse worker Alys (Poppy Lee Friar, In My Skin), whose childhood friend Megan (Aimee-ffion Edwards, Peaky Blinders) joins the same distribution centre as a trainee manager. In a desperate bid to make sure she keeps her new job, Megan pushes Alys to increase her “pick rate”, which in turn puts Alys and her baby at risk. ★★★★
