Open House: The Great Sex Experiment

Are humans really meant to be monogamous? Can human relationships really work without monogamy – or will the modern wave of polyamorous relationships, in which people have more than one partner, inevitably collapse into one big heap of jealousy, accusations and general dissatisfaction? These are the fundamental questions that this new “social experiment” sets out to answer. And there really could be a fair bit of jealousy coming up on the show, because it starts out with a group of monogamous couples, who want to explore for the first time whether they would be happier in an open relationship. Throughout a series of “intimate challenges”, they will receive support from sex therapists and relationship coaches, which is probably just as well. ★★★★ Jason Arnopp
