This feels like something new for prime-time BBC1. On the surface, it’s a bit I’m A Celeb in the snow as a gaggle of celebs – musical theatre legend Alfie Boe, songwriter and footballer Chelcee Grimes, Strictly pro Dianne Buswell, TV presenter Gabby Logan, weatherman and drummer Owain Wyn Evans, ex-footballer Patrice Evra, rapper Professor Green and actress Tamzin Outhwaite – gather in extreme conditions to take part in a series of nightmarish challenges. But they’re not competing to win anything and there’s no viewer votes or animal testicles to eat. Instead, they’re encouraged by cold-water wellness guru Wim Hof to face their fears and do stuff like jump into freezing water and climb down a mountain. It’s hosted by Holly Willoughby and Lee Mack, and is followed each week on BBC Three by Munya And Filly Get Chilly, in which funny dudes Munya Chawawa and Yung Filly go behind the scenes. BOYD HILTON
