Forming a tasty comedy double bill with Derry Girls, this brilliantlytitled new sitcom is written by Hull’s own Lucy Beaumont (Meet The Richardsons), along with Anne-marie
O’connor (Trollied ) and Caroline Moran (Raised By Wolves), and centres on the merrily messy lives of three working-class mums: Rana (Taj Atwal, Line Of Duty), Toni (Leah Brotherhead, Bridgerton), and Paula (Sinead Matthews, Chewing Gum). The series follows their hectic juggling of kids, family, work, friends and playground-parents. Tonight’s opening episode sees Toni having a sneaky night out in a pub, while Rana meets up with a Hull City player she met the night before, but who isn’t what she remembered. JASON ARNOPP
