Will Chloe GET THE SACK?
As ITV reportedly investigates the reality star
TOWIE fans were shocked last week to see the show’s drama spill over into real life when Chloe Brockett was involved in an altercation with former cast member Ella Rae Wise. While out in London celebrating a friend’s birthday, Chloe is believed to have thrown an ice bucket at Ella, which missed her and struck another woman.
The aftermath of the incident was captured on video, showing the woman hit by the ice bucket with blood pouring down her face being held back by TOWIE stars Roman Hackett and Rem Larue, while Chloe was pinned down by bouncers.
A witness said, “Chloe and Ella were rowing and it turned nasty. We saw Chloe throw an ice bucket at Ella, but it missed and hit another woman. She was seriously bleeding. Security were holding and restraining Chloe to the floor during the commotion, while she kicked her legs to try and get them off of her. It was a truly awful display and completely unprovoked.
The woman tried to confront Chloe, but she wasn’t able to get close to her because she was being held down by security. It was really shocking to see these women off the TV behaving in this way.”
Chloe and Ella both joined TOWIE in 2019, and the drama came with them. The pair were often seen arguing on the show, but would usually make up. At one stage, they fought over co-star Harry Lee – who they had both dated – and in 2020, Ella accused Chloe of sleeping with her ex of four years, just after she had split with him. At the time, Ella said, “I’ll never ever speak to her again. She slept with my ex-boyfriend, didn’t she? So, how can I ever be civil with that again?”
Ella, 21, was axed from the reality show last year, while Chloe has continued to be one of the main sources of drama. Following last week’s incident, Ella posted a cryptic message online, which read, “My circle is small, but they are all I need.”
Chloe is now facing calls to be sacked, with a TV source saying, “The show has a strict policy of no violence and it will be hard to ignore such a public outburst from Chloe. It simply won’t be condoned and she’ll be pulled in to explain herself.”
After appearing on Celebs Go Dating earlier this year, Chloe spoke to heat about enjoying the opportunity to show a different side to her personality – explaining that she often exaggerated the drama for the purposes of television. “With TOWIE, we’re always ourselves – but come on, the show is all about drama,” she told us. “If I just sat there being lovely all the time, it would be boring. I love playing the villain, I love having arguments. But going onto Celebs Go Dating, being my TOWIE self wasn’t going to work. Realising I had to be myself was really hard for me. I’d never done that before – I suppose you hide behind a mask a lot of the time. But I now feel a lot more confident in myself – it’s definitely helped me grow.” ■
