Amid an array of tasty Easter week TV treats, the start of the new, seventh series of this funny/creepy anthology show is as big a reason to celebrate as any. The six new half-hour stories written by and starring Reece Shearsmith and Steve Pemberton, as ever, will feature guest stars including Jessica Hynes, Daisy Haggard, Daniel Mays, Jason Isaacs and Sophie Okonedo, and, in this opening episode, Mark Gatiss. Yes, this means the story, titled “Merrily Merrily” is effectively a League Of Gentlemen reunion, marking the first time Mark has appeared in this show. The three of them play old university pals, embarking on a weird reunion taking place in a pedalo on a remote lake, where they’re joined by Diane Morgan, who is literally taken along for the ride.
