Tim Key has long excelled as Alan Partridge’s companion Sidekick Simon, and so it’s great to see him star in this BBC comedy. Pompous witchfinder (Key) is transporting a suspected witch (Daisy May Cooper) across 17th-century East Anglia to stand trial. But she’s more than a match for him.
